For 20 years in Los Cabos, we have believed that the ocean is the most vibrant stage for life’s meaningful moments. At La Isla, we are more than a fleet of private catamarans; we are a family-rooted hospitality brand dedicated to hosting with heart and precision. Our mission is to create an environment where energy meets deep connection, ensuring your journey flows with the effortless rhythm of the Sea of Cortez.
La Isla began with a simple observation: the ocean has the power to change the way we experience the most important moments of our lives.
Founded in Cabo San Lucas, we saw an opportunity to create something different. Experiences that honored emotional resonance over spectacle, intimacy over crowds, care over efficiency.
From private catamaran charters at sunset to whale watching mornings on the Pacific Ocean, every experience we craft is rooted in the same belief: that some days deserve to be celebrated differently.
For generations, our family has been shaped by the values of care, presence, and service. We learned early that true hospitality is not transactional—it is relational.
La Isla is the culmination of those values, translated into the context of Los Cabos and the Sea of Cortez. Every vessel, every experience, every conversation with a guest is filtered through the question: “What would make this moment feel cared for?”
This is not a business model. This is a way of life, extended to those who trust us with their most meaningful celebrations.
Real stories from guests who found more than they expected on the water.
The boat crew Martin(our guide), Fatima(our camera person), and Javier (the captain) really went out of their way to make the tour a wonderful experience for us. We saw many whales in the open ocean, and dolphins swam up to our boat.
In the snorkeling part of the tour, with Martin’s experienced guide even the first-timers in our group had a lot of fun. Fatima took beautiful pictures of us and was super warm to the two little girls in our group, really making their day.
Some of us wanted a parachute experience in the last hour of tour, and the crew contacted other companies to make it happen at a very short notice. Their services were simply incredible, the best we have experienced in years!
The boat was clean and spacious, great for the 10 of us as a group. The crew wore masks all the time on boats. The kids enjoyed chips and salsa and soft drinks.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy Los Cabos!”
From the moment we set out, it was clear this was going to be something special.
We saw so many whales, swam at a beautiful secluded beach, snorkeled, and enjoyed a perfect lunch. Everything flowed so easily and felt completely taken care of.
Lorena and Alejandro were wonderful. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, and it was clear how much care they put into making the day special. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, and spending the day with them felt easy and relaxed.
The service and experience were truly exceptional and something we will remember for a long time. When we come back to Cabo, there is no doubt that we will be booking through Isla Tours again.
I also want to thank you personally, Paola. The care and attention you provided throughout the booking process made such a difference. You were incredibly responsive and helpful, even on Christmas Eve, to make sure everything was set up perfectly.
That level of service is rare and so appreciated.”
Visiting El Arco and Pelican rock in our comfortable well equipped private boat was the highlight of our family’s vacation. Setting anchor off a beach we had all to ourselves so we could swim, lounge, and relax was amazing!
Captain Jaciel and First mate Max made sure we were well taken off as they guided us through our nearly four hour adventure.
Fresh guacamole with salsa and chips provided by the crew tasted even better after a swim accompanied by our own adult beverages! Cozy loungers with pillows made us feel like VIP’s. Streaming our favorite tunes to the boats incredible sound system added to our fun!
Comparing the costs of other tour operators this was a bargain considering everything was personalized for our comfort and experience.
One on one attention to detail and guest satisfaction at La Isla Tour was a winner for us! A well deserved five star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review by our family!”
Communication with Gabriela and Paola were seamless. From the beginning – communication with Gabriela and Paola were seamless. Very responsive.
We Celebrated with a large group of 14 people on the Manta boat. Our group was welcomed with drinks and refreshments. The crew on the boat were polite and very friendly.
Maria took photos of us during the tour and we loved them all. The boat was clean and the built in speaker system was great for our playlist.
We enjoyed the floating pad to lounge on and snorkeled bit (although not much to see) still fun to swim around the coast line. The guys loved jumping from the top deck.
We appreciated the covered shaded areas and lounging on the couches. We ordered food and it was all delicious. The Manta VIP boat tour was our favorite part of Cabo.
Would highly recommend! 5-stars”
Tony, our captain, could spot the whales from afar and head in their direction so we could see closer. Louisa, our guide, was precious! She was friendly and never tired of our questions.
Gabriella, owner I think, contacted us the night before to change our time due to low booking but we were unable to change. She kept our time and we ended up with a private tour on the beautiful waters of the Sea of Cortez!
We saw many whales, dolphins, and sea lions in their natural habitat.
I was shocked at the incredible communication from beginning to end. Eddie, our personal driver, picked us up from Pueblo Bonito Pacifica and returned us after we spent time downtown.
Incredible experience worth every penny! Highly recommend this trip.
Most experiences are built around what you will do. Ours are built around how you want to feel. Every decision—from the pacing of the day to the plating of a meal—is made with emotion in mind.
Our private catamarans in Cabo are more than a boat. Our guest counts are intentionally limited. We believe that the most meaningful experiences happen when space is held carefully, thoughtfully, and without compromise.
The Sea of Cortez is our partner, not our backdrop. We approach every experience with respect for its rhythms, its wildlife, and its capacity to shape how we feel and what we remember.
From the first conversation with our concierge to the moment you step off the vessel, you are not a customer—you are a guest. This distinction shapes everything we do.
The Journal is our curated record of vibrant celebrations, heartfelt connections, and the raw energy of the Sea of Cortez.
